Sweet, I was wondering if we could use that if we weren't officially students! It's like 300 cheaper to fly from Colorado to nyc than it is to fly into Ithaca!queerqueg wrote:http://transportation.fs.cornell.edu/coach/Alhe5015 wrote:There is a campus to campus bus going up from nyc for asw?downbeat14 wrote:agh too late! Anyone going up Thurs?

Did you see if there were flights to Rochester, Syracuse, Binghamton, or Elmira? Those are all closer. edit: but ya probably more expensive and less bus options

Speaking of Buses... there's also the ShortLine, which I believe stops on Campus.

potentially dumb question, but since i have received my offer already, can i remove Cornell from my FAFSA list so that i can add another school? does anyone know how that works?

once your fafsa has been sent, you can remove a school - but if you make updates, do add the school if you're still considering them, since otherwise they won't receive 'mbetty_bojangles wrote:potentially dumb question, but since i have received my offer already, can i remove Cornell from my FAFSA list so that i can add another school? does anyone know how that works?

It makes i think like 3 stops on campus, including one at Collegetown Bagels, which is right near the law school.
The C2C is nice, but if you're trying to save some $$$, then the Shortline may be the credited response.
Depending on where you're flying out of, Syracuse or Rochester likely would be way cheaper than Ithaca, but not sure on NYC (sometimes they are comparably priced). If you do Syracuse there's a shuttle that'll take you to Ithaca from the airport for 80 bucks or so. If you do Rochester, you'll likely have to hop on a cab to the bus station, and then take a bus. It works out to like $45-60 bucks or so.queerqueg wrote:Did you see if there were flights to Rochester, Syracuse, Binghamton, or Elmira? Definitely do the calculus on on everything, though, to make sure that the overall travel cost (and time spent traveling) is worth it vs. flying to Ithaca.

Completely floored to receive 165k. Cornell is making it rain.

It's also pretty nice that Cornell's tuition is barely increasing next year.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
