So who knew planning how and when to tell your bosses that you are leaving could be so stressful. Trying to figure out who to tell first, where, when, and will they order me to immediately leave the premises or let me hang around for two/three weeks.

I'm such a coward when it comes to this stuff!!!

Tell your immediate supervisor and work your way up. The sooner the better if you have a good relationship with them.

People leave jobs all the time for all sorts of reasons. Just tell them. They'll appreciate the lead time so that they can find a replacement.
