Section 1.
Is it safe to assume we can purchase the textbooks at this time?

Section 2 are the people that no one really seems to care about haha. Not super special. Not super bad. Just the chill, well adjusted kids who don't generally make waves.Gray wrote:sup.buckiguy_sucks wrote:Section 4
I hear section 2 is where they put all the people that Andy personally hates
ETA more stereotypes: 1 = gunners, 3 = hippies, 4 = frat boys and party girls, 5 = burnouts, 7 = old people. TMYK.

Haha, thanks! Do you feel like there's actually a noticeable difference between sections?ChuckBass wrote:Scooped me right as I edited.

Re: Georgetown Law Class of 2018 - Section Assignments now on ASW
I definitely get a gunnery vibe from the Section 1 people, but I think that's more a result of them knowing that's the stereotype than them actually being that much worse. Section 3 definitely has a huge push in the PI direction, and it's noticeable. Section 4 people I know seem very similar to Section 2 people, although it does seem 2 and 4 party more than the others. I literally can't think of anyone I know from 5 or 7 haha.kray wrote:Haha, thanks! I know very few GLS people on here, but yeah, Section 2 also gets the "International" stereotype quite a lot.Gray wrote:GLS is in Section 2 but apparently that's 0 other people on TLS because I'm the only section 2 vote.
Such crippling loneliness.

Seemed to hold up relatively well from 2 years ago to this past year, but that's all the data I have. Rising 2Lbuckiguy_sucks wrote:Also how do these stereotypes hold up with yearly change

As a 4E, you all are the same in aggregate. Nobody outside of a small number of you in your first year notice or care about any differences, real or perceived, in your section.ChuckBass wrote:Seemed to hold up relatively well from 2 years ago to this past year, but that's all the data I have. That being said, section 7 is full of handsome and wise individuals, fleet of foot, unconquerable in battle.

I respect thee, section 7. And I do agree that very few people are that different, and they tend to self fulfill prophecy. A fun and vicious cycle.Capitol_Idea wrote:As a 4E, you all are the same in aggregate. Oof, a no-section, huh? I've heard about you types - I feel for ya. Unable to get classes, doomed to wander the halls without ever being able to graduate, downtrodden. Parents warn their kids to behave and work hard, less they become a no-section.MennetoC wrote:for some reason I cant find my section assignment... Help!

"My friend (who couldn't see her section) checked with the Registrar, and apparently section assignments have accidentally been released early for some people. Supposedly, if you can't see your section yet, it will be released tomorrow." Someone just posted this to the Facebook.

I saw my section assignment earlier today, but noticed that by this evening it had been taken down. Has this happened to everyone else? Are those assignments still correct?

I'll be calling in the morning but if there's another email or something I can send to tonight so they have first thing, please let me know and THANK YOU. Appreciate a PM as then ill get an email to check my messages.
