I'm having part 1 of my going away party then attempting to pack and GTFO. Hoping to make it to Montana by the end of next week.RCSOB657 wrote:Share a drink with some friends from my first college, reminisce for the handful of friends that didn't make it back from the mideast.Chris Manifesto wrote:Anyone have any exciting plans for Mem. weekend?

I haven't been to Montana before but lots of killer places there (Glacier, Yellowstone, etc.) so I'm looking forward to it. Cleveland has two kinds of mustard though so that sounds good too.buckiguy_sucks wrote:ohh thats right trip to Vancouver and whatnot. Montana sounds like an absolutely awesome place to visit if you ask me. Wish I was there at the moment instead of in this godawful cubicle.

Going offshore fishing for the last time for a long while, hopefully catch some mahi. Hanging out with my niece and nephew, also probably one of the last times for a long while.Chris Manifesto wrote:Anyone have any exciting plans for Mem. weekend?

I love the mountain west. I would love to go hiking out there again. Just missing the whole time/money component.Hand wrote:Montana sounds like an absolutely awesome place to visit if you ask me. Wish I was there at the moment instead of in this godawful cubicle.

That's awesome. I'm hoping to do the same over the weekend but that all depends on my friends-with-boats. If I could do some spearfishing- i'd be a happy man.
Never been hiking :/ That sounds awesome, though.

I won't be in MT over Memorial Day weekend but I will definitely be spending a fair amount of time on the rivers up there over the summer. If you've never been you should really make time to go.

Hey if anyone wants to be my camping buddy, feel free to come along--I'm less scared of being outed on TLS than I am of being murdered alone in my tent
Heading up from Chicago May 26 or so.

Wait, so you think that going camping with strangers from the internet is going to decrease your chances of being murdered in your tent?tuxedocat wrote:Hey if anyone wants to be my camping buddy, feel free to come along--I'm less scared of being outed on TLS than I am of being murdered alone in my tentHeading up from Chicago May 26 or so.

Well, some TLSers are less murdery than others. And most (all?) of the TLSers I've met IRL so far have been hot girls, so seems like a safe-ish bet.

tuxedocat is a girl. maybe you can keep her safe this summer? after all, for every hot girl on TLS there are at least two murderous pyschopaths.RCSOB657 wrote:I wasn't going to post this but you opened the door for it.tuxedocat wrote:RancidSumo wrote:Wait, so you think that going camping with strangers from the internet is going to decrease your chances of being murdered in your tent?tuxedocat wrote:Hey if anyone wants to be my camping buddy, feel free to come along--I'm less scared of being outed on TLS than I am of being murdered alone in my tentHeading up from Chicago May 26 or so.
