There's been a definite lack of decision threads/senioritis activity so far this morning. It's gotten to the point where I'm considering doing real work...before lunch.

I always do my real work before lunch and then nothing after lunch.

Weird, I usually operate the other way. I'll start around 2/3 or so with some real work. Also, USN, you should start wading into the lounge to get your post count up.

I generally pick one daily task and work on it in evenly-divided 5 minute bursts. Nothing before 9AM though.

+1. If I do any work before the afternoon it is usually in very short bursts and when something is "urgent." Is anything ever really urgent?

Ditto. The only motivation left is "I really should do something today" and that doesn't kick in until there's maybe 2 hrs left in the day.

+1. Mornings are for answering urgent emails and trolling the Interwebs. Afternoons are for answering emails and doing the work that people would notice not being done.

I applied for on-campus at GULC. I'm leaving Cornell housing up in the air since I live nearby. Hard to deal with logistics until I finally have a confirmed destination.

I was thinking about this walking to work this morning. I've got such an easy life right now. 830-5 that is low-stress, and I just chillax the rest of the day and weekends. Working out, video games, boozing -- this has been the pattern for three years. It'll be such a drastic switch headed back to school. But as someone else said, the fear of poor grades/employment outcomes should make for a fast transition.

The hardest part about heading to school for me is having almost no legitimate interest in the stuff we're going to learn, at least as 1Ls. Everything but con law to me is incredibly boring. Torts, civ pro, crim, property, etc... Snoozeville.

Ugh. There are hardly any good new OT threads today, and the ones there are are the worst. Poor OBOB fighting the good fight to get more info and not much else. I don't even have the energy to back him up today...
