It's too late, isn't it? The website says that the application is due no later than March 1st. Am I missing something?
I'm talking about the fellows program, which has a deadline of August 1st, not the scholars program, which had a March 1st deadline. The former just gives you a mentor and tailored career service attention; the latter is the one that comes with a scholarship.

Oh, wow. Didn't know of that option. Thanks!

I think they're not doing the drawing until next week. The new due date on the housing application is May 22 because they got it up so late.

Just signed up. Good thing they extended the date.

Are there any advantages to school housing as opposed to getting a place near campus?

I was surprised that only one (ONE!) of the floor plans actually came in under GULC's own housing budget. For me the main appeal is that it allows me to secure housing without finding myself in trouble in case a good waitlist offer elsewhere comes my way. I'm sure housing is expensive down there, and then there's utilities, and commuting. I've never lived in a city before, so while Gewirz seems a little claustrophobic it's probably better than dealing with off-campus living for me.

Sorry if this has been covered already, but why does it say that tuition is due in July? Does that mean our loans disperse, and we get the refund in July?

If it's the same as undergrad, then they'll post a credit to our account for any amount to be covered by loans when tuition is due. Federal loans generally won't disburse for a while - probably not until the first week or two of September. If you're taking out loans for cost of living, have a backup plan or a credit card for orientation and the week or so after.

Yeah it's due at the end of July, and I want to say that the tuition portion of our loans is dispersed in July and the rest after school starts? Can anyone confirm?
Was told that the tuition deadline in July is for students paying out-of-pocket, without Fin Aid, and yes Fed loans are disbursed once school starts.

I think it's probably going out slowly. It has references to the ASW about a curriculum preference form, but that isn't posted yet. No rush! Even though I really want to fill all the things out :D
