I wouldn't mind making an unofficial FB group just to connect, but I suspect it wouldn't be used for official info since no adcoms would be in it?

Edit: I'm not sure how I would verify that a person who requests to join was actually admitted to Berk.

You should get it going and share the link; I feel like most schools have one by now and one would only hope that only admitted students would want to join the group

They offer $150 for in-state airfare and $300 for out of state. Although, if you have a specific situation and need that amount increased, write to the admissions office and they can show some flexibility.

Also looking at tickets for asw and they are indeed getting pricey! How much more difficult is it to get to campus from the airport in SF (vs. Oakland)?

You can get from SFO to Berkeley via BART as well. It's pretty easy, just a larger ride on BART and you have to transfer once.

I was admitted yesterday and have not yet received log-in info for the student website. Is there a date by which I have to RSVP for the admitted student weekend??

Congrats on your acceptance! It doesn't say online but I imagine you can RSVP leading up to the event. I got my email within 5 days of my acceptance so yours should be coming soon

Going to WOCC on the first day, deciding between BHWA and BJIL for Friday, and Gender Journal picnic on Saturday.
