If you book the hotel through Mich, it's $20/night. But other than that, doesn't sound like they help with cost at all.
Oh thank goodness! (about the hotel I mean)

Is there an easy way to get from the airport to the school?

Yeah, you can take a shuttle. It's like 45 mins away, I believe. The cheapest shuttle is something like $13 each way and UMich said that it leaves frequently.

I've been doing some research and it seems like it will be like this for me:

Plane ticket roundtrip= $230
Shuttle each way = $30
Hotel for 2 nights = $40

So still pricey but closer to $300.

Could we do a new poll for which ASW people are going to attend?

That is much better. The plane tickets I saw were closer to $400. I didn't realized the hotel was so cheap though. that helps.

Sounds like a good deal to me! Most cases my flight alone would be that much :(

I live in Ann Arbor. They're pretty close to the law school. The law school is on the corner of state and south University. The new grad student housing is on the corner of Thompson and Madison. Thompson a block away from state street. That building is in a great location.

Yeah, flying out of the airport closest to me would be closer to $350-400 but luckily, there is a major airport within driving distance.

Still, I think I may wait a few weeks more to hear about scholarships before I book my flight.

Shuttle to/from the airport is called Michigan Flyer (aka Air Ride), $12 nonrefundable one way last I checked. Best way to/from the airport if you're not pressed for time, alternatively there are plenty of shared ride companies that'll get you there from $20-$40.

Also, just got scholarship info today, submitted in Nov. accepted early Jan.

Looks like I could get a flight from Logan to Detriot for about $200 during the April ASW. Probably end up spending over $400 over the course of 3 days there for travel, lodging, and food. Does michigan offer any sort of voucher?

The hotel price is what they basically comp you- you pay $20 a night. Which is probably at least an $80/night savings.

I think some of the meals are taken care of as well.

It's official:

Similar to the last few years, summer starters will have Cooper for CivPro and Clark for Torts. No word on who will be the Legal Writing professor yet.

What's your source? Not doubting the authenticity of your info, just curious

Also, does anyone have any info/opinions on Cooper or Clark?

The run at ASW isn't with Dean Z this year.
Kind of a bummer, but on the otherhand, I don't have to get in shape/be an embarassment. :D
