Oh thank goodness! (about the hotel I mean)strugglebus wrote:If you book the hotel through Mich, it's $20/night. Yeah, you can take a shuttle. It's like 45 mins away, I believe. The cheapest shuttle is something like $13 each way and UMich said that it leaves frequently.ChemEng1642 wrote:Oh thank goodness! Is there an easy way to get from the airport to the school?
I've been doing some research and it seems like it will be like this for me:Winston1984 wrote:So taking into consideration a plane ticket, hotel accommodations, and travel to and from the airport, am I wrong in assuming ASW would cost close to $600?

That is much better. The plane tickets I saw were closer to $400. I didn't realized the hotel was so cheap though. that helps.hillz wrote:I've been doing some research and it seems like it will be like this for me:Winston1984 wrote:So taking into consideration a plane ticket, hotel accommodations, and travel to and from the airport, am I wrong in assuming ASW would cost close to $600?
Plane ticket roundtrip= $230
Shuttle each way = $30
Hotel for 2 nights = $40
So still pricey but closer to $300.
Sounds like a good deal to me! Most cases my flight alone would be that muchWinston1984 wrote:That is much better. The plane tickets I saw were closer to $400. I live in Ann Arbor. They're pretty close to the law school. The law school is on the corner of state and south University. The new grad student housing is on the corner of Thompson and Madison. Thompson a block away from state street. That building is in a great location.Life2good893 wrote:Has anyone seen the Munger Graduate Residences (under construction) in person? Also, what are the alumni receptions?
Single trip for me from my city to Ann Arbor would cost $800 LOL, so have fun guys!ChemEng1642 wrote:Sounds like a good deal to me! Yeah, flying out of the airport closest to me would be closer to $350-400 but luckily, there is a major airport within driving distance.ChemEng1642 wrote:Sounds like a good deal to me! The hotel price is what they basically comp you- you pay $20 a night. Which is probably at least an $80/night savings.usernotfound wrote:Looks like I could get a flight from Logan to Detriot for about $200 during the April ASW. Probably end up spending over $400 over the course of 3 days there for travel, lodging, and food. Does michigan offer any sort of voucher?
