Lol my prof must think I'm dumb as fuck. Had a 10 page academic lecture from the 1880s in our casebook. I skimmed it a week ago and honestly didn't pay any attention to it. I got called on in class first asking me about the guy who gave the lecture, had no idea, and then what the lecture was about. I thought for 10 seconds and answered I don't know. I didn't feel so bad because my class mates told me after they'd had answered the same on that call but holy shit thank god the final is blind graded.

Let those section mates know you are worried about their study habits. Tell them you are going to double your study time because of this worry. Walk away form your computer with your calendar open reflecting the increase in study time. Here is the tough part: don't increase your study time. Watch the whole section turn into a paranoid group of lawlords locked in an arms race for more study time. You may lose the study battle, but you will win the exam war. FInally, write this strategy in a TLS "How to Succeed in Law School" guide and watch it become the new gold standard.What could go wrong...

No personal stories. A lot of people exiting 2+ year relationships. There's a girl I sorta fancy, but she's just out of a long relationship and I don't know if she's into me at all. She's nice to me, but she's nice to everyone. I figured if I get great grades 1st semester, and she's still single 2nd semester, I'll ask her out then. If I'm not happy with my grades, I'll be studying 2nd semester and not dating.

I do feel like single people tend to gather together, and married/long term serious relationship people gather together.

It was startling how quickly people got around to it. And not just a bunch of random hookups like in college, but actual (so far) relationships.
