I wish I could wake up reliably at 6. I sleep till 7:30 and can't force myself to go any earlier without a good reason.

This is not an adequate amount of sleep. Are you ok?

Getting by on four and a half hours of sleep per night is less than ideal, but it is fairly common during the school year for me.

7 hrs minimum every night right here. I'm just not efficient on less sleep. Although, I don't drink coffee or tea or use any other caffeine. I like to drink those things, but don't do so purely for caffeine.

Yeah, I don't mess with 7+ hours of sleep. It's not worth ruining the whole next day just to stay up another 2-3 hours.

It would be nice to have that time for sleep, but with a family (got to spend time with the little one), work (the joys of always being on call, and a rough commute), and school, the hours just disappear too fast.

Also gym time before class. I usually try to get ~8.5-9 hrs of sleep. I have a thyroid thing that makes sleep very important. So usually:
7-wake up
8-gym
10-read emails/news/social media
10:30-class
12-lunch and reading
1-class
4-read for next day
7-8 - go home
10-bed
