I'm back to looking at vacations I definitely can't afford. I think I'll buy a powerball today.

You're too smart for that scam. The lottery is a tax on the poor and the stupid, the two members of our society who can least afford to bear that tax burden.

Please let's not turn this thread into a political shitstorm.
Storpappa is just trying to increase the odds that he wins by encouraging others not to buy tickets. I'm too smart to fall into your trap, Storpappa! I'm gonna buy two tickets and double my odds of winning.

Skipping the first day of my last week of work because I'm in Vegas and I'm up $20. Goodbye student loans!

You people make it so hard to say no...really at this point in life there's no foreseeable time we'll be able to travel, right? And where's that money actually going to go, if not to this? It's pretty much the 1L wine budget, yeah? Urrrgh I want to do it.

(PS: lol @ the fact that my TLS life basically consists of posts going "omg everything is so expensive omg why")
Bar trip.

Are we 3Ls yet?

Even if you're losing money, having fun with other games can be smart. Unless you're prepared to say it's dumb to spend money on vacations/entertainment.

Had a blast playing poker a couple times. Also lost plenty of money. I would (and likely will) do it again.

Vegas entertainment is things like

sadly, the former Star Trek experience and Quarks bar for a small drink called the Warp Core Breach

my 5 minutes of PW for attention is over ...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
