I'm with you, but I'm not counting on getting one. I'm mostly trying to figure out how to schedule my meeting with my boss to tell her I'm out. She doesn't have an office and we all sort of sit out in the open. I don't really get along with her so suddenly being like "hey do you want to grab coffee?" would be really odd.

I've got a week before I put in my 2 weeks.

I am fairly certain the most my coworkers would do is bring in some treats and then just keep them in the lounge area. Not a big, formal thing at all. And, really, any excuse to eat some free cake/pie/whatever is fine with me.

Yeah, we go overboard in my office (where EVERYONE is leaving). Personally, I prefer to duck out unnoticed, but if you're going to insist on cake it'd be rude of me not to eat it.

My boss has been in a meeting since I got in this morning and didn't leave me anything to do. Makes Monday so much more bearable.

Just told my manager I'll be leaving in July. It was bittersweet because I'm excited to leave and glad to have it out in the open, but he is easily the best boss I've ever had (probably ever will have) and he was asking me if there was anyway I would change my mind/if I could work part time/ etc. At least I can stop hiding my plans now!
