I doubt it. I don't see the advantage for them outweighing the risk that those of us who aren't able to negotiate either withdraw and attend elsewhere or withdraw and reapply next cycle. Unless they are already pretty sure they're going to hit their target medians this year?Dipper wrote:Think they're being purposefully slow to limit negotiation time?
I doubt they would put it off until the decision deadline, or even particularly close to it. But it might be to their advantage to leave only a week or two between scholarships and deposit date: people might only have time to get an offer and counteroffer instead of offer, counteroffer, counter-counter offer, counter-counter-counter offer....OhBoyOhBortles wrote: I don't see the advantage for them outweighing the risk that those of us who aren't able to negotiate either withdraw and attend elsewhere or withdraw and reapply next cycle.

My guess, or at least hope is, that they'll send out scholarship decisions for anyone who submitted before the March 1 deadline tomorrow or later this week and everyone who was accepted/submitted the scholarship app after March 1 will be on a rolling basis after the initial wave.omegaday1500 wrote:If I understand the process correctly, the scholarship decisions will come out on a rolling basis, so some students may not find out about scholarships until early or mid April? I hope I responded quickly enough to be in the first wave, otherwise the wait can be longer.
Thank you!ILoveYou wrote:Email.
E: Although I did appreciate when I got something in the mail that, among other things, contained a letter stating that they would not be notifying me about any scholarship offer via mail.

From everything I've read/heard, no, there's just the one deposit deadline for NU.keosu11 wrote:Does anyone know if the deposit deadline changes based on if you get a scholarship offer? I know for some schools (USC, GW, etc) they have a hard deposit deadline in late April, but if you want to accept the scholarship you must deposit at an earlier date.
Now there's a charge.
