Re: Cornell Class of 2018
This is an absolutely absurd and petty question, but...
What's the AC situation like at Cornell? I tend to be extremely sensitive to any sort of heat. I talked to some Cornell undergrad friends who mentioned several of the buildings not having AC. Of course, this would only be a problem for the first and last month. Just curious how the actual law school holds up there and if it's even a problem.

When it's "hot" the buildings are well maintained, and if anything they get too cold. You'll have to deal with insufferable heat for like one day of the year, though...maybe.hamiltona wrote:This is an absolutely absurd and petty question, but...

I got the confirmation about recieving my fin aid sheet. It says that I'll be notified by email about a fin aid award if I get one.
This should mean a quicker turnaround right from last year right? Since it was done by snail mail

Meh. I don't think they really stand out at all--although you can't really discern much from this data. I guess, out of all the schools with the highest COAs, they give out grants to the largest amount of people...but I don't know if that data shows anything else

+1 here, except for April. There is some late night bar shindig, but I don't know if I really want to snag a hotel for that. Anyone considering?BrazilBandit wrote:Any good hotel/AirBNB deals for March ASD/any current students willing to host?

A little disappointed here. Lower offer than mylsn prediction and received the same offer at a higher ranked school with lower coa.

Did people catch this sentence at the very end of the Award PDF?
"Please note that scholarship awards are given with the understanding that there is a moral obligation to repay the Law School if future financial circumstances permit repayment."
Is this a thing...?

It means they're going to solicit you for donations after you graduate like every other school, but for some reason they like to say it in the letter. Financial aid is weird. It's not a legal obligation, so whatever.lefthandofdarkness wrote:Did people catch this sentence at the very end of the Award PDF?
