Guys really quick question: I just got a huge initial scholarship offer from a school.

I've already gotten a slightly raised scholarship from my appeal at Chicago, but is it too late to show Chicago this new offer one day before the deposit deadline?

It's never too late (well, before the deposit deadline). I've emailed them to appeal my appeal twice this week and plan on calling this evening and tomorrow morning.

Once I made a big decision by flipping a coin and told myself I'd be 100% committed to the outcome. After the toss I felt so unhappy with the result that I did the exact opposite and am 100% certain I made the right decision.

ETA: TLDR, try the coin again.

TCR is flip the coin, the one you want it to land on when it's in the air is the right choice.

Still hasn't even been formally announced yet. Last year I think they announced the finalists, which included UChicago, Columbia, and UIC, IIRC.
