Shit, I thought it said Luke C, and just kind of shook my head and shrugged.beepboopbeep wrote:
Since you're familiar with his drawing abilities, can you decode what's next to the word "lake" at the bottom? Reads like a C with a dot in the middle to me.

Re: The University of Chicago Law School Class of 2018
Guys really quick question: I just got a huge initial scholarship offer from a school.
I've already gotten a slightly raised scholarship from my appeal at Chicago, but is it too late to show Chicago this new offer one day before the deposit deadline?

It's never too late (well, before the deposit deadline). I've emailed them to appeal my appeal twice this week and plan on calling this evening and tomorrow morning.GenericLawApplicant wrote:Guys really quick question: I just got a huge initial scholarship offer from a school.

ATTENTION: Will anyone who is targeting CA and is planning on attending or thinking about attending Chicago contact me? I need serious advice/your thought process in this decision, as I'm super super torn between two schools

Maybe you should contact a current student on the UChicago Class of 2018 Facebook group.sheishkabob wrote:ATTENTION: Will anyone who is targeting CA and is planning on attending or thinking about attending Chicago contact me? Does anyone know what time the commitment response form is due? Should I submit it by the end of the office hour or by 11:59PM CST?

Yep I have! I want some input from people who are making this decision and what are swaying them towards that...after talking to current students I'm still very confused ughWahrheit wrote:TITCRlc0626 wrote:Maybe you should contact a current student on the UChicago Class of 2018 Facebook group.sheishkabob wrote:ATTENTION: Will anyone who is targeting CA and is planning on attending or thinking about attending Chicago contact me? Once I made a big decision by flipping a coin and told myself I'd be 100% committed to the outcome. After the toss I felt so unhappy with the result that I did the exact opposite and am 100% certain I made the right decision.
ETA: TLDR, try the coin again.

Coin flip ended up not being necessary, school 2 came through with some last minute good news. Best of luck at Chicago, this one definitely stung

FYI, all: UChicago reportedly gets Obama Presidential Library. We're going to shoot up in next year's Cooley rankings.

Still hasn't even been formally announced yet. Last year I think they announced the finalists, which included UChicago, Columbia, and UIC, IIRC.
