IT's YOUR FAULT I'M SLACKING BECAUSE YOU DEMOTED ME BECAUSE IM LEAVING!
Sounds like reasonable argument lol.
Plenty reasonable for me.
Very tempted to go to lunch less than two hours after showing up. Already took two coffee breaks, so might as well..

Not thru hiking the PCT (although I would love to do that), but something outdoorsy and in that realm. I'm pumped, although I'll miss frequenting TLS.

Even though you won't be frequenting TLS, I think you should start a thread where you occasionally tell us a few stories about things that have happened in your outdoorsy work life. I don't know what it is you're actually doing, but whatever it is sounds like it will be pretty cool. Call it Rigo's Adventure thread. I'll bookmark it.

boss's antics today have inspired me to push up the quit date (again). I'll be out on the 29th.

Sounds awesome. I've done some sections of the AT and have thought about thru-hiking it but I don't think I could commit the three to four months of my life to doing it
I want to so badly. I'm tentatively planning to starting spring 2016.

It's going to be kind of rough. I'm a youngin' so I'll spend a good chunk of summer at home, but yeah I'll put a serious dent in my savings regardless.

Haven't checked my work voice messages since January when my first acceptances come in. I don't know if I'll be able to keep this up much longer, much less for my remaining 3 months.

Watching people start to quit is like watching acceptance waves go by: happy for you but also feeling left out
