Or within something like ~5 business days of acceptance. You should get an email about it within a few hours of acceptance.

Yes, but i think you have 5 days to get it in after acceptance. Go to the admitted students website linked on your decision letter and fill it out asap.

Just got an email about creating a NetID and your NU email address and it says that important information will be sent to that email address. Does this mean we have to create and check it for info (for example, for scholly info) even if we aren't sure about NU yet?

Idunno, I created an account, then couldn't log into the email thing and gave up. I'm planning on ignoring it until I hear about other people getting schollies, then I'll panic and try again.

I set up that email account back in December, and they've still been sending things to me by GMail - so I'm not sure if they're going to go big and start sending scholly info through their school accounts.

I got my @Northwestern email account just now too. Set it up and there's no scholly info in there yet.

+1. Got 3 emails from NU and started losing my shit. Realized none of them helped me find out any scholly info and really lost my shit.

I was in the middle of a nap when I got the email. Woke up very quickly only to realize it was an email about setting up my Northwestern email address and not scholarship money. I just want my scholarship email!

I did, in case they decide to share scholly info through that email instead, and I have no idea if I'm attending. It said that they insta-deactivate it when you withdraw, so doesn't seem to be any harm in making one.

I vote 1. If you don't end up attending, they'll just delete it. Also, it gets you access to their system through which you will be able to see your financial aid offer, regardless of the email they'll send.

But I guess 3 is the right answer.
