Or, if under some excusable circumstances, one doesn't have to?
I'm a weird case - a 2020 graduate who took February UBE at Vermont pre-grad and transferring score. One big issue is that my military service (in Korea) may overlap with the swearing-in ceremony. Superiors will certainly allow me to attend the online ceremony but not the offline one.
Must one attend a swearing-in ceremony to be a NY lawyer?
