I'm trying to view a blank copy of the Character and Fitness application for the District of Columbia to get a sense of the actual questions it asks. The National Conference of Bar Examiners website (http://www.ncbex.org/character-and-fitn ... diction/dc) says you can view a jurisdiction-specific application by logging in to your NCBE Account, but for some reason I'm not able to view a copy. Could anyone with an NCBE account do me a huge favor and post a PDF of the blank DC application here (or private message me)?
Thanks in advance for the help!
Anyone able to see a blank copy of the C&F application for DC? Forum

While this dates to 2017, and questions may have been revised/added/removed since then, https://law.yale.edu/sites/default/file ... l_2017.pdf provides a convenient initial look at each jurisdiction's C&F questions.

That's very helpful, but does anyone have access to the full list of questions on the application?QContinuum wrote:While this dates to 2017, and questions may have been revised/added/removed since then, https://law.yale.edu/sites/default/file ... l_2017.pdf provides a convenient initial look at each jurisdiction's C&F questions.

I doubt it. The questions are an interactive form on the NCBE website. I think the only way to get a printout of them is when you save a PDF of your actual application. And even if the PDF isn't locked, I doubt anyone wants to scrub their information from dozens of pages to create a clean copy.planted_tree wrote:That's very helpful, but does anyone have access to the full list of questions on the application?QContinuum wrote:While this dates to 2017, and questions may have been revised/added/removed since then, https://law.yale.edu/sites/default/file ... l_2017.pdf provides a convenient initial look at each jurisdiction's C&F questions.
That said, the questions are relatively similar across jurisdictions. DC asks for your past employment (going back to age 21, if I remember correctly), personal references (who aren't employment contacts), and the generic criminal history/civil suit stuff. If you have a specific area of concern, I'm sure someone could help you figure out how to address it or could at least let you know whether you should be consulting a C&F attorney.
