Coronavirus and mask at [February 2020] California exam
Hello all,
I have question related to wearing mask to protect from Corona virus. As stated one of email California bar administration allows to wear it.
However, I tried to wear it while taking practice test which is so uncomfortable.
I am wondering how safe it is in Pasadena California . If there is nothing to worry so I don't want to wear it.
I am traveling from GA to California for test purpose. Thus, I have no clue how safe it is to travel in California.
M in Georgia. Here we all are traveling without mask and safe.
Please give me your input.
So I get less worry about wearing a mask during test.
Thank you all and good luck to us

Reason: Edited to clarify topic pertains to *February 2020* CA bar (not the upcoming - now postponed - July bar).

Unless Pasadena, California was relocated to Wuhan, China, you're going to be fine.

That seemed to age poorly.

Actually, it didn't. This thread involved the February exam, which took place just before the pandemic exploded in the U.S. There is no evidence that the February 2020 CA bar exam resulted in community spread of the coronavirus. I'm sure any evidence of a link between the bar exam and the coronavirus would've been headline news.Emowasawesome wrote:That seemed to age poorly.
This is a rapidly evolving situation. It's a totally different situation now than it was at the end of February.

Hence why he said it aged poorly. So it did. Good try. But thanks for the update about it "rapidly evolving" — wasn't aware.QContinuum wrote:Emowasawesome wrote: This is a rapidly evolving situation. It's a totally different situation now than it was at the end of February.

Not at all. The OP asked about the February 2020 exam, and the responses were geared to the February 2020 exam, and gave accurate and good advice. The responses have not "aged poorly" at all.media1 wrote:Hence why he said it aged poorly. So it did. Good try. But thanks for the update about it "rapidly evolving" — wasn't aware.
