Hi all,
My state (TX) has three deadlines for the bar application: the timely deadline, late filing deadline ($150 penalty fee), and final filing deadline ($300 penalty).
Are there significant disadvantages to applying for one of the later deadlines, aside from the penalty fee? I'm guessing that C&F approval might take longer and I might have fewer choices when it comes to the testing center. Is there anything else?
The "timely deadline" is coming up on February 1 and I'd like more time to triple check some of the details on the C&F portion of my application, if possible.
