Getting accepted to NY bar after passing FL?

Post by Lawman1865 » Sun Nov 03, 2019 12:11 pm

Hi all, posting for a friend in FL, he passed the July FL bar and is wondering the rules for being accepted to NY bar/transferring his score. He is considering taking the Feb NY bar but is there something about practicing in FL for 5 years and then getting accepted to NY? What are the rules there (he wants the option of moving to NY in 5-10, etc.)

Is there something about transferring MBE score to D.C. and then "leapfrogging" to acceptance in NY?

Thanks

Tell your friend to look at the NCBE website. They literally have a chart for this.
