I'm a foreign trained lawyer and trying to get the online foreign evaluation for NY Bar done. There are basically 4 requirements - Qualifying degree, accreditation, durational equivalence & substantial equivalence. From what i understand, the law school from my home country is to send the official transcript with the dates of attendance for the period of study, courses taken, grades, number of credits, degree awarded and the date on which the degree was awarded along with a copy of degree certificate.
I'm confused - who is to send the accreditation document? Will my law school send a copy of accreditation?
What document / transcript prove the "Durational equivalence" & "Substantial Equivalence" to a full / part time law program at a law school approved by the ABA?
Any help or guidance is appreciated. I'm new to this country and this forum.
