Very generous of you OP! If I were you, I’d ask for some proof the recipient is a law graduate studying for an upcoming bar exam and not someone who simply wants to re-sell (of course it’s your property to do with as you please!)
I got almost $700 selling all my CA Barbri materials individually on eBay.

I attempted to donate through a prisoner's education program called Books through Bars, but they do not accept study materials.
