OK...so far. Day 1 (the PA Essay portion) is finished. I think I did very well on it.
But it felt weird. Like a gimme. Which is downright bizarre for PA.
Let me explain.
The questions were a lot more straightforward than last time and covered issues I knew REALLY well so I wrote at great length and detail. Also, the essay portion seemed much easier than the last two times and some subparts of some questions hit a few weird points of Pennsylvania law...but not many at all as I thought.
This essay exam almost felt like what I've read about the Multistate Essay Exam for states that use it-75% of it seemed really general. I think I pulled a VERY good score this time. Whew. I had NO problem spotting issues and no problem elucidating on them, either.
Given this fact, I wonder if Pennsylvania is experimenting and might switch over to the MEE sometime in the future-or if they will continue with a Pennsylvania exam that feels sort of like an MEE.
I think this bodes swell for my passing.
Well, I'm up in my hotel room, taking a nap soon (2 hours) and then dinner. Then, crack open Adapibar and my "Strategies and Tactics for the MBE" book and back to studying so I can write a good MBE tomorrow.
Resting my mind-exhausted.
