Foreign educated. Graduated 15 years back. Third time NY bar exam taker. Passed Feb 2018 exam. Never give up hope!

I am foreign educated and graduated from a top tier law school in New York 15 years back. After graduation, I strayed away from the legal profession and dived into the digital media industry. Fate and a job opportunity brought me back to a law-related field. Decided to take the NY bar exam on a whim in Feb 2017. Studied for 3 days and took the exam. Scored 230 (100 in MBE). Thereafter began preparing for July 2017 exam. Job responsibilities and work schedule didn't allow me to take off and study for the exam. Studied during lunch breaks and after work hours, before heading home. Failed July 2017 exam by 10 points (135 in MBE). Was crushed but didn't give up hope. Began preparing for Feb 2018 exam from around late Dec. Work schedule and family responsibilities didn't permit me to take time off from either work or family. Tried to study 2-3 hours daily on weekdays during Jan and in Feb, study hours increase to 5-6 hours. Focused equally on MBE and MEE subjects. Two days before the exam, practiced a couple of essays, read through some MPT and essay questions and answers, and practiced around 350-400 MBE questions. Sat for Feb 2018 exam in Buffalo. Survived Examplify nightmare. Opened email a couple of days back and find out that I passed comfortably. 279 points. Happy to finally get this behind me. If you're foreign educated or a retaker like me but failed this time, all I have to say is this - don't lose hope in yourself. You're better than what you think. Believe in yourself and stay optimistic and disciplined. I have passed the bar exam. And so will you!
