Re: July 2017 Texas Bar Exam
this is my 3rd bar exam and i thought it would be easier but its not any easier. i walked out of the exam not knowing if i passed or failed and even right now i keep going back and forth in my mind. the thought of studying and taking the bar exam again with an infant at home is just making me nauseous. I really hope none of us have to go though this again. Best of luck everyone.

But this is all pointless because I'm sure we're all getting great news this week. I hope we can laugh about all this soon enough.
I really hope you’re right! I’m praying for the best news for us all <3
Unfortunately now I’m back to just knowing I failed. I still have this image in my head of seeing my name on the pass list and being so happy, and then I think “haha, welcome to reality” and imagine my name not being there.
Other than the emails about laptops, my admission ticket, and that f**ked up survey thing, I’ve heard nothing from BLE at all ever since I submitted my application for the exam. Not sure if that’s a bad sign.

I'm there too. The thought of seeing my name there pops into my head. But then I remember how bad I feel about one section (MBE) and I imagine the opposite. Honestly just ready to know now. Have spent 6 months either studying or thinking about this test.randomguy89 wrote:Me too.boogerrr wrote:lawlaw08 wrote:I've had similar anxiety. But worst case is you take it again. Or you could be in the same boat as 90% of other applicants who submitted the right documents with the application, which eliminated the need for the BLE to contact yourandomguy89 wrote:

Stop looking for signs, lest you’re gonna persuade yourself that the fact that you spilled salt under the ladder when you were 3 will get you a fail. We’ll all be fine.

It's not a bad sign at all. The BLE states that if you haven't heard from them in a certain number of days it's because there were no issues with your C&F.illegally_blonde wrote:Or you could be in the same boat as 90% of other applicants who submitted the right documents with the application, which eliminated the need for the BLE to contact yourandomguy89 wrote:

I know exactly what you mean! I slept better than the other times, but I can't shake this feeling that I'm going to fail and it's going to be close. How is everyone planning on finding out. Personally, I'm going by the number of emails I receive.

I'm checking my email, the Board of Law Examiners pass list on its website, and my Atlas account...every 5 minutes! Lol!Estecontre wrote:I know exactly what you mean! Do they send the emails at the exact same time as they put up the pass list?Estecontre wrote:I know exactly what you mean! Or is there a delay?
I slept better than I thought I would but still not a whole lot. For whatever reason, even though I feel like I know I failed, I feel a little less anxious today.

I was only mildly anxious until yesterday. I slept well last night but can't concentrate at work or anything else for that matter.np1211 wrote:i think its a good thing. Re: July 2017 Texas Bar Exam
I had two very vivid dreams about the bar last night. In one of them they announced the pass rate was 99.2% and somehow I still failed. I'm at the point where nothing helps ease the anxiety. Everyone around the office is telling me that "everyone who studies passes," and reminds me that my school has a 95% pass rate. But at the end of the day it makes the prospect of failing that much more dire. This is one of the very weird times where I wish I was coming out of a TTTT where no one absolutely expects you to pass the bar on your first try. Failing today is like Texas losing to Kansas in football, it should never happen, but when it does no one ever will let you forget it.
Here's hoping that we're all champions on this fine day.

I'm really glad I didn't go in to work today. I wouldn't have gotten anything done and would've been driven crazy just sitting there at my desk.

I believe there's a bit of a delay. I checked my e-mails from last year and there's definitely a delay between the two e-mails (last year it was about 15 minutes between receiving the fail letter and the breakdown).randomguy89 wrote:Do they send the emails at the exact same time as they put up the pass list?Estecontre wrote:I know exactly what you mean! I wish I could have stayed home. If it's bad news, I'd rather receive it in private.leib10 wrote:I'm really glad I didn't go in to work today. I wouldn't have gotten anything done and would've been driven crazy just sitting there at my desk.

I've been at work for an hour and haven't gotten shit done. Staying home today was good call, though I've unfortunately got a ton of stuff to get done (bright side, should keep me busy assuming I can actually get myself to be productive).leib10 wrote:I'm really glad I didn't go in to work today. Re: July 2017 Texas Bar Exam
You should just do what I did last time around when I was at work. I turned off my phone so that no one would bother me and I wouldn't see the e-mails when I was at work. I waited until after work to turn it back on and find out then. I didn't turn it off the whole day though, I waited until like mid-day and would read the forums until people "in the know" would talk about results being imminent then I turned it off.jts723 wrote:I've been at work for an hour and haven't gotten shit done. The first step is that there will be a "July 2017" link to click on the web page with all the pass lists, right? But it won't be live yet?
