this is my 3rd bar exam and i thought it would be easier but its not any easier. i walked out of the exam not knowing if i passed or failed and even right now i keep going back and forth in my mind. the thought of studying and taking the bar exam again with an infant at home is just making me nauseous. I really hope none of us have to go though this again. Best of luck everyone.

So anxious and depressed I’m basically debilitated because of how ashamed and embarrassed I’m going to be when I find out I failed. Christmas is my favorite time of the year and it makes me so sad to know it’s going to be spent studying and being scared about another failure. I hate this so much.

I've had similar anxiety. But worst case is you take it again. The embarrassment will seem bigger to us than to our loved ones and peers. And we already formed a foundation for studying. We just need to practice if we do not get good news tomo/friday. I don't think that would require studying for 3 months like last time. But if you choose to do so, spending thanksgiving/xmas/NYE as you normally would is the way to go. You need those breaks and you also wouldn't get much done if you tried to study during those times anyways. Kick it into high gear starting in the new year and that'll give you almost a solid 2 months.

But this is all pointless because I'm sure we're all getting great news this week. I hope we can laugh about all this soon enough.

Unfortunately now I’m back to just knowing I failed. I still have this image in my head of seeing my name on the pass list and being so happy, and then I think “haha, welcome to reality” and imagine my name not being there.

Other than the emails about laptops, my admission ticket, and that f**ked up survey thing, I’ve heard nothing from BLE at all ever since I submitted my application for the exam. Not sure if that’s a bad sign.

I'm there too. The thought of seeing my name there pops into my head. But then I remember how bad I feel about one section (MBE) and I imagine the opposite. Honestly just ready to know now. Have spent 6 months either studying or thinking about this test.

Stop looking for signs, lest you’re gonna persuade yourself that the fact that you spilled salt under the ladder when you were 3 will get you a fail. We’ll all be fine.

It's not a bad sign at all. The BLE states that if you haven't heard from them in a certain number of days it's because there were no issues with your C&F.

I was only mildly anxious until yesterday. I slept well last night but can't concentrate at work or anything else for that matter.

I had two very vivid dreams about the bar last night. In one of them they announced the pass rate was 99.2% and somehow I still failed. I'm at the point where nothing helps ease the anxiety. Everyone around the office is telling me that "everyone who studies passes," and reminds me that my school has a 95% pass rate. But at the end of the day it makes the prospect of failing that much more dire. This is one of the very weird times where I wish I was coming out of a TTTT where no one absolutely expects you to pass the bar on your first try. Failing today is like Texas losing to Kansas in football, it should never happen, but when it does no one ever will let you forget it.

Here's hoping that we're all champions on this fine day.

I believe there's a bit of a delay. I checked my e-mails from last year and there's definitely a delay between the two e-mails (last year it was about 15 minutes between receiving the fail letter and the breakdown).

You should just do what I did last time around when I was at work. I turned off my phone so that no one would bother me and I wouldn't see the e-mails when I was at work. I waited until after work to turn it back on and find out then. I didn't turn it off the whole day though, I waited until like mid-day and would read the forums until people "in the know" would talk about results being imminent then I turned it off.
