How many hours per day of study (CA, July 2017)

Post by cram1 » Tue Jan 03, 2017 6:46 pm

How many hours per day should I study for the July 2017 California Bar if I start now? My work schedule won't permit me to put in two months of 8+ hours per day of study. I would rather invest a much shorter amount of time per day stretched out over a longer period.

On a related note, when will testing location info for the July 2017 CA bar exam be released? Also, is there a way to know what you need to have in order in terms of paperwork before March?

Your school has to send some paperwork to the bar. Not sure what it is, but you can call your school and they should know what it is.

There is no way to practically answer this as studying is going to vary for each individual. Given your handle, I would advise that you put in whatever time you think you need in order to be ready. Also, ask yourself if working full time while studying and not taking the time off to do this is your way of sabotage. I understand that people have obligations, but I also have seen people put up roadblocks for themselves in order to feel comforted when they don't make it past the finish line.
