Taking the Ohio MBE... Started middle of November due to light course work (no final exams) and the fact that I'll have to work for majority of bar prep period.
I got AdaptiBar, as it came highly recommended by one of my professors. I like it so far, the questions seem far more in depth than the Themis questions.

Taking the NY UBE.. Do you guys actually listen to lectures for easier(?) subjects like Contracts or Torts? Would I miss many things if I just read thru Themis outlines and take MBE questions for those subjects? What do you think?

I have been skimming the outlines, and watching the lectures at 1.5 speed. There are some practice questions not covered in the lectures, but majority are.

I also watch lectures 1.5X, which saves time and I can focus more.

I just registered and I'm all over the place between their schedule and my pace. I don't find the lectures helpful but the outline book is the best at highlighting the areas of BLL you need to memorize. Regarding application of the law, I guess just start steamrolling the practice exams? I'm looking forward to that first graded contracts essay.

Not to be braggadocious, but I don't even bother with the outlines since this is the 2nd exam I'm taking. You have to do whatever works for you. Notecards, outlines, lectures... etc.

I started in November. Its a lot of material! I've been working full time for two years and decided I would finally attempt to take the NY bar. I don't remember much of anything, lol. I generally listen to the lectures at 1.5 speed, outline the outline :/ , and do CriticalPass flashcards. I am meeting the "test goals" but not by much. The goal is really low, too! Like 60%. Does the goal get higher later in the course?

I'm using AdaptiBar in addition to Themis.

Despite of my best effort to keep this studying process interesting, or at least to suck this up, Im waaaay behind of schedule, just finished the Property lecture. Kinda lost how am I going to catch up and do enough MBE problems and essays, which I did not really turn them into.
Where are you guys at now in term of progress?

I'm at 54.5%.
I had a light coursework last semester with no final exams. I started very first day the program opened - 11/09, because I can't take 6-8 weeks off from my full time job. Usually do about 1% per day, which takes me about 3-4 hours. I have been skimming the long outlines, and re-reading the lecture notes for the "review" tasks.

Glad to see this thread exists...Currently at 28%, I've been working mostly under directed study to focus more on MBE subjects.

Does anyone know what the hell Sherman T Clarke is talking about? He is just confusing the hell of me and I am bombing the assessments. Any advice on what I should do to learn evidence?

Am I the only one who finds some of the Themis lectures are very poorly executed (apart from some lectures, such as contracts, criminal law/procedure)?

Anyone else taking the practice MBE exam tomorrow? I've been scoring in the 60% range for all of my other sets, doubt that I can push it to 70ish...

Anybody else starting to feel burned out? ugh! I took the essay portion of the simulated exam yesterday, but Im not sure if I should take the multi-state portion today due to my mental state. Also this week I've slowed down so I'm at 59% completion.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
