Taking WV bar without prep course
I passed the PA bar in 2013 and now my employer wants me to take the WV bar this February. Other people at my firm who took the test did not use a prep course, so I assume the same is expected of me. I was wondering if anyone had advice on how to best go about tackling the information. Also I have heard that you do not need to apply WV law, despite some info out there to the contrary. If anyone knows about this, please let me know. Any feedback or advice would be appreciated!

Re: Taking WV bar without prep course
WV will be going UBE in July. See if your employer will be okay with you taking it in July instead. I'm sure it will be less stressful without the state specific material on there, and be more valuable in the future to not only you, but to the employer as well since you can transfer your score to other jurisdictions. Your employer is probably unaware of this, and if you bring it up as an efficiency measure I'm sure they'll approve.
