Feb 2017 Texas Bar Exam
Retaking the TX Bar. Anyone have suggestions for study aids for the Texas essays? I have heard of TexasBarFlash but would appreciate any other suggestions. Thank you!

Definitely focus on studying past exams. That's your best strategy. They repeat concepts/topics.

Re: Feb 2017 Texas Bar Exam
The only essay topic/issue that was new in July 2016 was bankruptcy. All the other 11 essays were repeats from the past.
The best way for you to prepare for the essays (for all subjects) is to do every-single essay BLE has given since 2003. I finished the entire essay book that barbri gave and went to BLE website to do July 2015 and Feb. 2016. Make a separate word document, divide to subjects, and start going through all the past essays. You'll see a lot of repeats. Do NOT rely on the answers on BLE site because they are not always 100% accurate. I used Barbri answers as a guide. This is time consuming but will help your score a lot on the 3rd day. And don't just memorize the answers, make sure you actually understand it because the essays questions may be worded different in your exam. But as long as you understand the concepts and memorize the rules, you'll be fine.
And make a habit to answer essays questions in the way BLE likes. (1) State the issue. (2) State law. (3) Analyze. (4) Conclude.
