25 Experimental Questions
It appears that the composition of experimental vs graded for the MBE has changed. Examinees will be given 25 experimental questions as opposed to 10.
I believe this now gives the NCBE more latitude in manipulating score results and pass rates. I believe this makes the exam tougher because you're faced with more curveballs and that may throw you off.
Why did they change the experimentals from 10-25? Can anyone comment?

Yes, that is quite the imagination. However, I think the increase in experimental questions starts this February, iirc.ArtistOfManliness wrote:lololol you have quite the active imagination

Ahhh, I stand corrected! Yes, we should all worry very much. The MBE is now going to be impossible with all its trick questions!!LockBox wrote:Yes, that is quite the imagination. My imagination also tells me that the NCBE discriminates against test takers who do not fit their ideal profile of an attorney. These experimental questions will probably feature several questions where there are more than 1 right answer. If the pool of desired test takers (based on age, race, educational institution, LSAT score - all of which is available on your NCBE profile) choose one answer while the "undesirables" choose another, even if the answer chosen by the undesirables far outweigh the answer chosen by the "desirables" then that experimental question may be converted into a graded question in favor of the desirables. Similarly, the answer chosen by the desirables may show up next administration as a graded question as it's used to filter out the undesirables.

I don't understand the joke.
And I will admit, it's not my imagination but it's based off of articles that were published last year in a Law Journal.

I was referencing another user's conspiracy theories. Here is a good place to start: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 8&start=25SpringWater wrote:I don't understand the joke.
