What to do now for NY?

Post by AndroidLawyer » Thu Jul 28, 2016 3:12 pm

I'm not sure if anybody already asked this, but do we have to do the character & fitness or any other material for NY soon? Or do we wait until the bar results come out?

I'm not sure about C&F, but if you haven't done NYLC or NYLE yet, get on that.

You can't submit the C&F form until you get your results back, but you should still complete it beforehand because it will take you a while. You can get the form for your department on their website. They can take their time clearing you, so firing that thing off asap once you're able to has its advantages.

Sounds like good advice. I assume I'll have to get a bunch of DMV records and letters of recommendation / references ready.
