Emmanuel's - 5th or 6th edition?
I am considering getting this to use once Barbri ends. I'm not too concerned with Civ Pro since at least with the Barbri questions, so far I've been doing very well.
The new 6th edition has Civ Pro questions but I only saw 1 review on Amazon. I read somewhere here that the 1st and 5th edition has actual MBE questions(???) and that's why those are the best editions. I am considering getting the 5th. My worse sections thus far have been con law and real property.
Any thoughts?

I'll be purchasing the 6th edition once I finish the Barbri MBE materials.

How would you compare Barbri questions and S/T questions? Thanks.criminaltheory wrote:Purchased 6th and I'm using it w/ barbri on days with few MBE questions. i like it, though i can't compare to the other editions. i like the answers & questions better too so far.

For what it's worth, I've been using both Adaptibar and the S/T book (both have released MBE questions). I can't quite put my finger on it, but there's something different about them as compared to Barbri. I think oftentimes it's the way that they're worded or the way that the call of the question is asked.LionelHutzJD wrote:How would you compare Barbri questions and S/T questions? I know that the new edition has civ pro questions, but does the 6th edition have new questions for the other the six topic? Or are they the same questions in the 5th edition?

They are exactly the same except for the CivPro additionsquiggle wrote:I know that the new edition has civ pro questions, but does the 6th edition have new questions for the other the six topic? Or are they the same questions in the 5th edition?

Are the questions representative of the tested topics?

Are adaptibar and the s/t questions similar? Prefer one over the other? (Obviously other than the fact adaptibar is insanely expensive and also an app)doctoroflaw91 wrote:For what it's worth, I've been using both Adaptibar and the S/T book (both have released MBE questions). All editions (including the 6th) use actual retired MBE questions. The only difference is that the 6th edition has a chapter on Civil Procedure and those questions are not actual MBE questions because the NCBE has not released any yet.

Re: Emmanuel's - 5th or 6th edition?
I currently have the 5th edition, and was thinking of purchasing the 6th. Would anyone know if the AM and PM exams are the same questions in both editions. I noticed that the 6th edition included OPE 4. Is the OPE 4 in print or only online?
Regarding the 5th edition and Civil Procedure, Emmanuel offered a supplement of civil procedure questions (accessible online).

Civ Pro questions whether it's on AdaptiBar or the otherwise excellent Strategies & Tactics books are frankly "utter garbage."
Hell, I feel like 10% of the Civ Pro questions on AdaptiBar have weird grammatical and spelling errors to make the experience even worse. Adapti-Bar Civ Pro raw % nationwide is under 50% and has been since Civ Pro's come out. From what I understand, the Adaptibar questions are considerably harder than the "REAL CIV PRO MBE" questions not that we have a sizable sample.
