Contact Barbri and ask who the rep in ur school is. Email the student rep and ask to be signed up for the current price lock for even more discount. If I remember correctly students paid about $2800 for the 2015 July.
If that is still too expensive then just get the barbri books online and self study. The only thing u get from Babri that is different from self studying is video lectures, which I think is completely unnecessary if you study well with their outline book.
If ur taking CA bar and want cheaper option ill give u contact to the Kaplan regional rep who will certainly give u a discount and negotiate w u. All because ur friends w ugg.

You could probably call the Kaplan bar prep 1-800 number and ask about the discount. They should be able to explain how it works or get you in touch with a state rep who can get you more information.
