Great, thank you. I was really worried I'd be driving to Buffalo.
Those sitting in White Plains, where are you staying? The closest hotels are pricey, and I'm paying for it as of now.

I picked buffalo for no real reason except that I may go to Canada for a few days after the bar.
Shit... that's a nice plan.. I'm at Albany.

Wound up in Albany, looks like a lot of the hotels were already booked. Grabbed a Best Western down the road that at least provides a shuttle, so hopefully that works out

Sitting at a 63% right now after 200 questions. Bleak.
What should we be aiming for?

From my understanding based on what Adaptibar tells you - 70% in each subject and overall is the safezone. They base this off of a rough calculation of doubling whatever your Adaptibar % is in order to get your estimated scaled MBE Score. So if you double 70% they claim that's equivalent to a 140 scaled MBE which is supposed to be safe zone.
It's early on...right?

adaptibar average right now is at 60%. I think it's pretty early in the game. The goal is to improve over the next few weeks. Review the qs you got wrong so you know to spot the issue and apply the correct rule on the next qs.

What do we do with our shit on the second day, since check out time is before we are done with the bar? Just leave it at the front desk?
Ask for a late checkout. Most places will let you do a late checkout for free.

How do you guys find time for Adaptibar with the intense schedule Kaplan/Barbri have? I feel like I haven't been planning my days properly.
Suggestions?

I think I'm going to stay in buffalo for an extra night on my own dime just so I don't have to stress about getting to the airport the same day I just finished the bar

This is what I'm doing. Flight out would have been at 7:15, and I didn't feel like stressing trying to get to the airport in time. I'm not even sure if it would be possible. I'll be at a bar, or the casino, or both.

Has anyone still not gotten the e-mail that they received all materials? I gave my school the certificate of attendance and handwriting sample the same day as my friend and she got her e-mail last Friday and I still haven't got one...guess I should call my school.

I haven't, but I don't think other people at my school have either (we literally just got our diplomas yesterday smh). A possibility is that they may be processing them in batches and your particular batch hasn't come up yet. They're not due until June 15 so I wouldn't worry too much until Monday or Tuesday.

did they say anything about a confirmation e-mail on location chosen? I took a screenshot of my confirmation page just in case.
I'm an out-of-state candidate too and selected New York City (Laptop). It was about 5am here in Australia so I was pretty out of it. Didn't think that foreign students were allowed to pick NYC, but I selected it just to try my luck. I screenshotted my confirmation page too. Not too sure about that "meet the educational requirements" disclaimer, have they rejected people from test sites after selections in the past? Let me know if you hear any confirmation about taking it in NYC as an out-of-state! Thanks

"meet the educational requirements" means you need to get an email confirmation that they received all your materials (handwriting specimen etc) and that you are now eligible to sit for the exam.
Odd they don't send confirmation after we select our location (true for everyone not just out of state I think). I know the tickets are issued a few weeks before the exam. As far as I know, so long as you got the confirmation page you are all set.

There's a thread in on the front page of this subforum I believe.
