2nd dept ny

submitted back in early jan, does anyone have any idea why it it taking this long. I have not heard anything

because 2nd dept covers westchester, brooklyn, queens, staten island, nassau, and suffolk counties, and they probably have a shit ton of apps to go through.

i figured but thy lost my school form so instead of being finished in December, it wasn't till January, so this sucks lol

You can call and see if they've received it or what step they are in the process. I know I sent my stuff almost immediately after finding out the bar results (which is the earliest the 2d dept will let you), and it took 2.5 months for them to respond to me. If you sent it in January, that's even more people ahead of you.

And yeah, that sucks. I've had happen to a friend of mine, except they lost all his legal employment affidavits, so he had to get them all over again.
