I'm hoping that they were. The wait has proven to be more stressful than the actual exam, at least for me.

Sorry... didn't mean to cause any heart palpitations. Oops.. I just did it again.JEB wrote:See, TenaciousJ, now you're just being cruel to all of us who have followed this thread so we know when the first person in-state gets it so we out-of-staters know they're on the way. Every time I get an email that this thread has a new reply my heart leaps up into my throat.

Someone posted on the all4jds site that they called NCBLE and the receptionist said they were mailed today. Hopefully that's accurate. Good luck everyone!

Re: 2016 North Carolina Bar Thread
My letter arrived today in Charlotte.
So, they don't tell us our scores, huh? Also, have they still not done our background checks? Or is the stern warning about licensing still being contingent on C&F just for stuff we did (not) do between the exam and now? Doesn't matter, but I feel like if they are going to have a deadline for the July exam in JANUARY, they could have maybe taken care of it over the summer. Whatever. I just want to sleep again. No biggie.

I read it as don't do anything bad between the exam and licensing. From what I understand, in the past, people that didn't pass character and fitness were notified in same letter that said they passed.tardy-har-heel wrote:My letter arrived today in Charlotte.

Ah cool, you made my day that much brighter. Hope I can get my deposit back on the coke party I had planned though - - -WinSome wrote: I read it as don't do anything bad between the exam and licensing. I know the feeling. Being out in California makes this wait torture. I was holding out a desperate hope that it would get here today. Hopefully tomorrow.LegalEagle2016 wrote:Same here! I feel like I'm the only one who still doesn't know if they passed or not. It's driving me crazy.

PASSED. I can't believe it. Started ~actually~ studying like 2 weeks before then ended up having a bad cold during the exam. I'm going to write a nice letter to DayQuil.
Congrats to everyone else!

And still nothing...hopefully tomorrow. Did they send this thing bulk-rate? Or by ship?

Re: 2016 North Carolina Bar Thread
Could you please list those 12 subjects? Thank you!WinSome wrote:Only a couple days left. Is everyone ready? Hopefully, they ask the same twelve subjects they have the past couple couple years on the essay. If somehow tax comes up, I might just write an angry letter in SofTest.
Also, I hear one of the questions asks for 10 more references. You have to do it the top of your head and cannot repeat any you gave on the application.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
