Hi all,
I'm sure this may have been answered, but didn't feel like searching. Anyone take a second bar while working in Biglaw. I am a first year and really want to take NY this summer. I actually don't want to leave my firm, but think that having NYC, plus the possibility of waiving into a bunch of jurisdictions with my score is appealing--if I understand how the UBE works. Does anyone have any experience? Tips? Thoughts?

I did it last summer for the IL bar. it sucked because I had taken the VA bar in 2012 and forgotten everything. you will probably remember a lot more since you took the first bar exam recently

Any other advice? Did you tell people at work? Did you get less work while you were taking the bar?gk101 wrote:I did it last summer for the IL bar. it sucked because I had taken the VA bar in 2012 and forgotten everything. you will probably remember a lot more since you took the first bar exam recently
