T- 14/15 days. So.. how far behind is everybody? Anybody? Hello?

So, I'm winding down my studies on the MBE, and I'll probably have all relevant flashcards for Property memorized within the next 30 hours or so. My AdaptiBar's currently sitting at 71.2% although I've done very few Civil Procedure questions, but uh... AdaptiBar's Civ Pro questions look like crap, but I'll eventually go through those too I think.

In terms of the MEE, I've skimmed through Agency & Partnership, Corporations, Trusts, & Family Law. I've gone through nothing else. I'm somewhat familiar with Wills & Estates only because I took a class on it maybe 4 years ago but I barely remember a thing, and frankly, I didn't do too well on that class anyway. I can't imagine Conflict in Laws will come out as they haven't for many years now, which just leaves Secured Transactions I believe.

I've also looked over 2 MPT's, and plan on looking at 2 or 3 more if time permits.

Random question if you guys don't mind.

I want to be licensed, but I'm not planning on being a practicing attorney. I just need it for an employment boost, and by the time I looked around in late December, the only application process that seemed easy with an appropriately late deadline (live outside the US currently, deadline was 1/15) was Alaska's which is a pure UBE jx, no local laws, 50% MBE, and whose application process is purely online as of this year, etc... so it seemed like a good fit. I read that 50% MBE Jx= auto-pass thread, so I'm crossing my fingers.

And also, I wanted to check off the aurora borealis in my bucket list. I hear it's excellent borealis season right around the end of February assuming I don't kill myself after the Bar.

My big question is about the score requirement though. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uniform_Bar_Examination

They're all being graded with the same methodology, right? It just seemed strange to me that Alaska's and Idaho's (with all due respect) scores are quite a bit higher than the other states, with New York's prospective score only being a 266, and Alaska's the highest, 280.

1) Does it actually mean that it's harder?

2) So, if i score a 270 for example, i fail the alaska bar, can i take that score to another Jx subject to the local jx's extra rules and requirements?

Thanks for any input, and hopefully i'm not the only one who's this behind.
