Hi all,
So I was registered for the August 2015 MPRE but I missed it. I took the bar two weeks before and I'm working this summer, finding a new apt. and moving etc., so I've just been so busy that I completely forgot about the MPRE. I took the NY bar (which allows you to take the MPRE after) in July.
If I take the Nov. MPRE, will I be significantly delayed in being admitted to the NY bar? Can I start working on the application while I wait for Nov. MPRE results to come in, submit it right away in early Dec. when they do, and be able to be admitted at essentially the same time?
Am I screwed bros?

Im out of state but I took the bar in Buffalo. I guess that would be Fourth Department.northwood wrote:What Department?
EDIT: I think as an out of state taker without offices in NY I am defaulted to the Third Department? At least according to this https://www.nycourts.gov/ad3/Admissions ... onExam.pdf

At most, you would be slightly delayed while they wait for the MPRE results. In the mean time, send in your application. There's nothing to be gained by delaying that.

My recollection is you have a long time after taking/passing the bar to do the MPRE in NY, but it's been a while. Probably not a big deal.
