Got kicked out of the bar
My exam wasn't uploading, and the proctor came over to help me. I got frustrated and called her a "f&cking hag." I didn't realize that she was chairwomen of the licensing board. She kicked me out right there and told me not to come back the next day.
FML, bros. What should I do? I found out her phone number, so I think I am going to call her tonight and threaten to sue.

Lawyer up, brother. If she hangs up quickly, follow up with a multitude of texts

I suspect apologizing and politely asking for a second chance will go over a lot better than following up calling her a hag with a threat of a lawsuit.

Is this a serious post? You should call her tonight and apologize for profusely. If that doesn't work, look at other options. If it was after the testing, I don't see how they can prevent you from finishing the exam. But again, a little courtesy would go a long way here.

I'm not sure if you're serious. But, if you are, two thoughts:
Sure, you may have legal options down the road. But I think you'd probably have a better chance with a really heartfelt apology (assuming you get the opportunity).
Besides, I imagine that pursuing legal options would make a public record of your inadvisable behavior. That would probably be more damaging to your reputation and career than having to retake the bar.

No. If you come out swinging, who knows what will happen. She might drag it out. She might make something up. If you apologize sincerely, 95% chance that she appreciates the apology and that you realized what you've done. It's over and you get to show up tomorrow. And you don't surrender all your other options but chances are you will not need them.

Here's what you do, and this is coming from a guy who literally punched 5 proctors for not letting me go to the bathroom, and still passed.
Step 1: Find out where she lives and show up at her house with a can of gasoline and some matches.
Step 2: Light yourself on fire, just a little bit, on her front porch with her whole family watching.
Step 3: This is very important, you have stop the flames from killing you.
And now she knows you mean business.
Good luck on tomorrow's portion.

Wow you did that and then want to sue her? What a guy.
Isn't she a public employee? It's illegal to threaten or harass public employees. I bet that's the angle she could take with a justification for kicking you out, and she very well might be right.

It's also illegal for public employees to deny you you first amendment rights and due process. I could basically destroy her with a 1983 suit.artistar wrote:Wow you did that and then want to sue her? What a guy.

Of all of your blatantly trolling/flaming post, this is the one that had me going for a second. A full fucking second. Partially because I could see this actually happening to a law student.Tom Joad wrote:My exam wasn't uploading, and the proctor came over to help me. I got frustrated and called her a "f&cking hag." You actually think it's a good idea to call and threaten to sue her if she doesn't let you take the test, as opposed to apologizing and begging for forgiveness?
If this isn't a flame, I'm buying drinks tonight in Sacramento
