MEE - Essay Help!
Okay everybody...since we're winding down crunch time...anybody have some last minute encouraging info re: how badly we can suck at essays and still pass? Barbri's self-scoring checklist can only bring so much relief.
My state has the MEE at 30%
Took an NCBEX practice today got a scaled 159
Barbri MBE put me at mid 140s

Subject to jurisdiction specific rules. Assuming it's cumulative scoring... autopass. If it's a 50% MBE Jx, a scaled score of 150+ is a virtual autopass.. like you'd literally have to write drivel on the rest of the exam. From you saying 30% is MEE, I'm guessing MPT is a good portion too, and if you're doing well on MBE, then well.. half of MEE subjects are probably going to be MBE anyway, so loads of open space for major bullshitting.

With those MBE numbers, just put something on paper and you're likely fine. At least half of your essays will be MBE subjects, which you obviously know well enough to put something competent down with that kind of MBE score.

Re: MEE - Essay Help!
Anybody have February's MEE topics?
I STFA, but I couldn't come up with a list.
I know that Commercial Paper has been axed, but I need to budget my remaining two days because I am a slacker.
I found this as a guide for what has been tested up until July of last year, for anyone who's interested:

Seems like Civ Pro and something involving Wills is nearly automatic, corporate especially leaning toward LLCs/partnerships is an odds-on favorite, and secured transactions is a good bet. As well as all the MBE subjects.

Re: MEE - Essay Help!
My state's 2015 February MEE had the following off the top of my head: 1) Property, 2) Secured Trans, 3) Wills, 4) Torts/Agency, 5) Civ Pro
Can't remember what the 6th was, but I think Evidence
Aren't the states given the choice to choose 6 subjects out of 9 drafted questions? Or did I just make that up?

I think they chose 6 out of 7 or something. UBE states all chose the same.
Thanks...that's helpful.

This is a breakdown of the essay topics the past several years (including Feb '15) and the 6th essay was Constitutional Law apparently.

I'm relying on this. I've only done 2-3 essays per subject, and they kinda suck.
