Need support. My dog died today. Bar in a week. Forum

My dog died right before the LSAT and I was a wreck, he was my best friend. I just did my best and knew that my studying was not in vain and that it would kick in on the test. I know the LSAT is nothing compared to the bar, but you can do it and he would want you to do well.

This basically happened to me a couple years ago. Was a wreck and was certain I'd fail. But I sat the exam and wound up passing.

I'm so sorry about your dog, but after getting this close to the test do whatever you can to hold it together and make it to the test next week. You won't be starting from scratch if you wind up waiting til Feb but you'll have to relearn a bunch of stuff.

my cat died the second week of bar review. and not just suddently. she was in the hospital for about 4 days. on the last day she had surgery but stopped breathing, we literally ran out of my house, rented a car, and drove/flew to the hospital too late. i know how you feel. be strong. i wasn't. i was behind a whole week and was behind until mid june. but you are stronger. just one more week you can push through. i know its hard trust me. i have tears streaming down my face as i type this. i still stay up crying over my cat. but you can do this.

I am so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful pup he was! And I bet you gave him an awesome puppy life; he's probably up in heaven right now telling all the other dogs how great you were, and how you're going to crush the bar. Good luck pal.

Love this! My dog passed a way over a week ago and he's probably in heaven telling all his buddies how he graduated from college and law school ! Lol! I hope they have French fries in doggie heaven. My Oreo loved French fries ! This bar exam is for you Oreo
