Does anyone know exactly how you cut and paste with SofTest? Everything I tried with the mock exam did not work! Thank you in advance for any direction.

If you're asking if you can copy, open the program, and then paste: No.

Once in, I believe you can copy and paste like you typically would (i.e. macros: Ctrl + x or c or v). Have you tried the macros?

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. Sorry, yes I was referring to trying to cut and paste a rule statement to use later in the essay. Tried control-C to highlight, and then control-V and nothing?!

I just logged into the Mock exam and I'm able to copy and paste using the macros without any problems. Highlight what you want to copy, ctrl c and then ctrl v. If that doesn't work, I'd try contacting ExamSoft

I think the states can choose what functions to disable (like some states disable spellcheck), and copy/paste may be among those functions. So you might not be allowed to.

Just an FYI: His username is CBXer, so I'm assuming he's in California. California permits copying and pasting, so if there's a problem he should contact ExamSoft ;)
