NY admission affidavits for UK graduates

Post by UKlawyer » Thu May 07, 2015 3:58 pm

Hi,

I am trying to complete all the forms for admission into NY Appellate Division, Third Department. I obtained my degree from the UK and the majority of my employment is either in Canada or England. I am not aware (though I could very well be mistaken) that the UK has a formal notary system or at least not one I have had any contact with. How did you get your law-related employment affidavits notarized in UK? I would be grateful for any insight you can offer before I send these forms to my past employers.

Thanks in advance :)

This is what you need: http://www.thenotariessociety.org.uk/

Enter location and then it will give you a list of who is qualified to notarise the documents in your area :)

Hello uklawyer,

If you're looking for in UK;

I'm working with H&S Notary Practice, their price is more reasonable.
