Hi All
I searched the forums and couldn't find if this question has been answered or not and not sure if there are other folks in similar situation such as mine.
1. I have foreign work experience (India)
2. My bachelors is from India & my LLM is from UK
3. I have recently moved to the states and would like to sit for the BAR
Q1. Which state/states would allow me to first apply & sit for the BAR examination with what I have. It seems majority of the states require a JDM from an ABA university. I have my Masters in International Commercial Law. I cant afford to go through school again.
Q2. If I pass the bar, can I take the bar in the state of Florida (family reasons, need to come back here) and if passed be allowed to work as an attorney?
Thanks in advance and apologies if I have posted in the wrong section.
Note:- Please advise if I am asking the question in the correct forum or not. Thanks

Florida does not allow foreign-educated students to sit for the bar exam. New York and California allow it, but you must meet specific requirements. These links may be helpful: http://www.llm-guide.com/article/407/us-bar-exam-faq
