Stanford and Berkeley tied for highest first time taker pass rates for CA schools at 88%. A 3 percent drop for Stanford and 3 percent increase for Berkeley over last year. Southwestern really took at hit; dropping from 74% to 54%. Yale fell to 76% though the smaller number of test takers makes the comparison less meaningful
US attys taking the general bar fell 5 percentage points to 60%; the odds are still much better here than on the atty's exam.
