July 2014 Bar Exam results thread

Post by borntorun86 » Mon Aug 25, 2014 9:49 am

North Carolina will be first out of the gate (as usual) with results being mailed out this week or next.

I think I'm going to be sick with anxiety. :vomit:

Good luck guys. Also, my condolences to Texas, Cali, and other states that make you wait till November.

At least we Texas and California folks will get some validation as to how steep a curve we're going to see. The consensus is overwhelming that this MBE was an outlier in difficulty.

Dat 20-point scale bump tho *fingers crossed*

Ya, I just started a non-law job because I need to start making money if I'm gonna retake in Feb. I purely guessed on 90-95% of the MBE questions so there's no possible way I passed.

Hoping for the same curve as July 2013 in CA

Keep the snail states posted about what the curve will be....(praying for historically generous curve - I got slaughtered in my AM MBE set).

Hi all. I just got an email from a very reliable source saying that North Carolina results should be mailed tomorrow and that we should see them Friday/Saturday.

Wow, it would be nice to not have to wait til October, but I guess 30+ more days won't hurt compared to 60+

Unless your job is contingent on passing the bar. Then you just wallow in sorrow and alcoholism.

I'd say that of my friends, only 50% of the people who really worried they failed, actually did.

So NC sends out results, then those who failed have to appeal to get their scores, correct?

So it will be quite a while until we find out the MBE scaling. Anyone know generally when that comes down the pike?

NC people will have no information about the MBE unless they failed and ask to see their scores. So even though they went out and people are receiving them (per other forums) it does not help the rest of us right away!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
