Don't feel bad. It's just a number. It's meaningless. I'm at 4%. I haven't been checking things off. And I haven't been doing much of what Barbri says anyway. You know just as much as the rest of us. Absolutely nothing. Far more than is needed to pass the bar with flying (mediocre) colors.

But, if I had it to do over again. I wouldn't do any of the Studysmart MBE questions past set 3. They are horrible and not helpful. Neither was Barbri AMP. I think AMP was made just so we feel stupid. I've see BER be a correct answer a few times and it really throws me off. They preach not to go for the red herrings in Barbri lectures yet their multiple choice often have red herrings are the correct answer. Stick to the lectures & CMR review and do the practice tests (full day MBE, SFE and anything else you think you need).

I'm chillin at 80%. I actually like BARBRI AMP, though. I found it entertaining and helpful for memorization. It's big for me to resign myself not to make 100%...i've heard you only need to do something like half the stuff BARBRI gives you to get by.

I took two jurisdictions using Barbri and passed despite only hitting 55% on their stupid counter. It's an arbitrary and dumb construct, much like everything else related to the bar.

I did, however, make sure to go back and check everything off because I believe they look at that in determining whether to issue you a free course if you fail (though I am not 100% certain).

One of the day 1 lecturers said that 90% of people that completed 75% of paced program pass the bar.

I did, however, make sure to go back and check everything off because I believe they look at that in determining whether to issue you a free course if you fail (though I am not 100% certain).

I call it chasing the green dragon. You can try to catch it but you never can.

I took BarBri a few years ago for an exam and I think I got to 45% and I was checking things off. Most people I know were in the same boat and we all passed. The BarBri pace is another one of their scare tactics.
